Clarence White Lifetime Achievement Award 

  • Must be age 55 or older

  • Is a Pokagon citizen, spouse, or enrolled citizen of another federally recognized tribe involved with the Pokagon community

  • Honors cultural traditions

  • Serves as a mentor for others

  • Conducts themselves in manner of 7 Grandfather Teachings 

 

 Emerging Leader Award

  • Age 30 and under

  • Is a Pokagon citizen, spouse, or enrolled citizen of another federally recognized tribe involved with the Pokagon community

  • Serves as a catalyst of change 

  • Honors cultural traditions

  • Serves as a mentor for others

  • Conducts themselves in manner of 7 Grandfather Teachings                                                                          

Outstanding Leadership Award

  • Is a Pokagon citizen, spouse, or enrolled citizen of another federally recognized tribe involved with the Pokagon community

  • Serves as a catalyst of change 

  • Honors cultural traditions

  • Maintains environmentally sustainable practices

  • Provides outstanding service/products to the community

  • Serves as a mentor for others

  • Conducts themselves in manner of 7 Grandfather Teachings 

 

Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award

  • Is a Pokagon citizen, spouse, or enrolled citizen of another federally recognized tribe involved with the Pokagon community

  • Creates jobs for other tribal citizens

  • Honors cultural traditions

  • Maintains environmentally sustainable practices

  • Provides outstanding service/products to the community

  • Serves as a mentor for others

  • Conducts themselves in manner of 7 Grandfather Teachings
